Polyurethane Injection
Polyurethane Injection is a specifically engineered process to seal and waterproof a crack in concrete. This process is done from the interior of your home.
How Polyurethane Injection Works
The process is completed in three steps.
- First, our trained technician will clean the crack and adhere surface ports (plastic tubes with a flat base) along the crack with an epoxy paste.
- The crack and ports are sealed with an epoxy adhesive providing a seal that will hold up to the pressure of the injection. This step can take up to 4 hours to cure.
- Once set up, the technician will inject the polyurethane into the crack ensuring that the product fills every part of the fracture.
- After 48 hours, the plastic ports can be removed by hitting them with a hammer (if desired).
